OK Mobility, the global mobility platform committed to constantly improving its services, has announced a strategic partnership with Sabadell Consumer, the consumer finance subsidiary of Banco Sabadell. Through this agreement, the company expects to offer its subscription service users greater flexibility in paying monthly instalments.
OK Mobility's subscription service allows users to choose from a wide range of vehicles for periods of 1 to 12 months through an accessible, simple, and 100% digital management process. It also allows them to enjoy multi-mobility and multi-destination, with immediate access to a wide range of vehicles, from cars and motorbikes to cargo vehicles. This partnership will make it possible for consumers to benefit from greater flexibility in the payment of their subscription thanks to the services offered by Sabadell Consumer.
The agreement was signed at OK Mobility's headquarters in Palma. Mercè Serra, CEO of Sabadell Consumer, and Othman Ktiri, CEO of OK Mobility, attended, congratulating each other on the agreement.
Serra welcomes the alliance between the two companies and says: "Our company is always on the move, offering innovative solutions to customers' needs. Subscriptions in the automotive sector are a growing trend and we could not have a better partner to implement our subscription payment solution than OK Mobility, a leading company that stands out for its innovation in the market. This pioneering agreement places us, once again, at the forefront of automotive finance.
Ktiri comments: "For four years, we have been alerting our financial partners about the paradigm shift in users' consumption behaviour in accessing mobility. Users are increasingly favouring usability over ownership. Supporting our customers in this new trend entails technical challenges such as, for example, the adaptation of financing. Financing a car is very common, but financing a mobility service was challenging. Thanks to the work of the OK Mobility and Sabadell Consumer teams, we are proud to introduce this disruptive and unique financing product to our customers.
In 2023, the company experienced record growth in its Mobility Services division - which includes vehicle rental and subscription - with revenues of 191 million euros, an increase of 27 % versus the previous year. The subscription is particularly noteworthy in these results, as it has proven to be a model that perfectly meets the different travel needs of customers.
A fleet of vehicles in line with the Zero Emission Commitment
Currently, almost 24 % of OK Mobility's fleet in Spain is electric technology, and the company has introduced a specific section for users to subscribe to this type of vehicle, thus offering them a more environmentally friendly alternative. This percentage exceeds the company's global average of 17 % electric vehicles, highlighting OK Mobility's commitment to adopting more sustainable mobility in the Spanish market.
